About
Parents seek therapy for themselves, their children and their families because something is not working. If you are living with emotional distress--anxiety, depression, relationship issues, stress-- therapy can help. I am Irena Tatom, owner of Talk. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been working in the Mental Health field for over 10 years. I have a passion for helping parents through the difficult times of parenting. As a parent, I experience parenting challenges daily and use my experiences to help other parents. I work with teenagers because I recognize how challenging this stage of life can be and realize how necessary it is to have an adult who is unconditionally in your corner. Teenage years aren't easy, it's a transition from childhood to adulthood mixed in with so much angst and awkwardness. I am here to help teens and parents navigate through this challenging time.
